anxiety-disorderr:

people with anxiety tend to do this a lot. we think that the absolute worst thing is going to happen - we will pass out, we will vomit, we will die, we will be judged, ect. it seems that every tiny thing we do in life, from brushing our teeth to going to school, is catastrophic. we will find something terrifying and obsess over it. i can tell you a ton of my catastrophic thoughts, like if i go too far from home, i will get sick or hurt. suddenly i blow that thought up into a thousand paranoid images in my mind that are just…catastrophic! so you understand what i mean. channel these thoughts and tell yourself “this is just craziness. come on. i’m smarter than this.” :)
